“La maison d’Els”

Welcome in my B&B for students, workshop and gallery « la maison d’Els », in the centre of the medieval village of Olargues.

I have my studio / painting gallery at the groundfloor of the house where I come to paint during the day. There’s an independent entrance for the guest.
There are 3 spacious bedrooms: Espinouse bedroom (3 separate beds or 1 double bed and a single bed + toilet and bathroom),
Caroux bedroom (2 separate beds + bathroom with toilet) and Cebenna bedroom ( a double bed + bathroom with toilet).
The common kitchen and the living / dining room are well equipped and I offer breakfast.
The kitchen overlooks a large courtyard where you can eat and rest in a medieval setting.
There is free wifi access, T.V. and 3 bathrooms and 3 toilets.e bain avec toilettes)

Price for one night/room on request.
In combination with a workshop: 30€ per person.

Welcome to Olargues,
“un des plus beau villages de France”

Olargues is a medieval village, located in the department of the Herault and has been voted one of France’s most beautiful villages. It is located in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional du Haut-Languedoc Natural Park in the Jaur Valley. This charming medieval village includes numerous sights including the «Pont du Diable» dating back to the 12th century, the tower, the medieval garrison, the church …

From the old fortress of the medieval city you have a beautiful view of the Caroux, and the surroundings full of vineyards, chestnut and cherry trees. The countryside is perfect for outdoor sports including hiking, canoeing, moutain biking, and caving, and  you can cycle and walk on the “Voie Verte du Haut-Languedoc (Passa Pais)”, from Mazamet to Bedarieux on the old railway crossing the Mediterranean landscape.
